For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11, ESV)

Wouldn’t be wonderful if our beloved Uncle Sam decided to deposit into all our accounts a million dollars? Then it was decided that we all should have six months of leave every year? And just because they wanted to be nice, they recalled every Soldier deployed to be permanently assigned home? These are dreams, at best. Well God does promise not to withhold anything that is good for us. I think I would settle for God’s best over the government’s any day.
