And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” (Mathew 20:30, ESV)
Of all the people, it is the blind who really see Jesus. Something told these two beggars that God is more concerned with the right heart than He is with the right clothes or procedure. Somehow they knew that what they lacked in method could be made up for in motive, so they called out at the top of their lungs, and they were heard. God always hears those who seek Him. It is not beautiful prayers of pious men, but the sincere heart that God is waiting to hear.
Prayer: Lord, wretched man that I am, I need your healing grace in my life.
