Daily Devotional

7 September

I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. (Psalm 37:25, ESV)

When I first joined the Army, I learned the expression, “Army takes care of Army.” The idea being suggested was that we were to take care, provide for, and watch out for our fellow Soldiers. In essence, God does the same. He takes care of His own. He makes sure they have what they need, but not necessarily what they want. As you care for your fellow Soldiers, consider how much more God cares for you.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for Your grace extended to me.
