6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:6-7, ESV)

The people mentioned in yesterday’s verses are furthered described as ones who are so completely depraved that they spread their wickedness wherever they go. Watch out for those spreading their sins. Do not be caught up in their net. They may even appear to be intelligent and fully aware of spiritual things, but they are ignorant of the truth of God. Know the truth, and then you can identify the fake.
