Daily Devotion

5 December

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.” (James, 1:6, ESV)

Has doubt been by to see you lately? If you find yourself going to church in order to be saved and not because you are saved, then you’ve been listening to him. If you find yourself doubting if God could forgive you again for that, you’ve been misled again. If you are more cynical about Christians than sincere about Christ, then guess who joined you for dinner?

Prayer: Lord, strengthen my faith to combat the doubt that travels with me. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear.
