10 December

“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Mathew 25:40, ESV)

If you haven’t noticed yet, the call of Christ has a lot to do with people. How we treat people is a direct reflection on how we express our love to God. Make an investment in people the world has cast off (the orphan, the divorcee, various people groups) and you may discover the source of your independence. Jesus’ message is stirring: ‘the way you treat them is the way you treat me.’

Prayer: Lord, my treatment of others is an act of worship or disobedience. May I worship!
