8 Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. 9 Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools. (Ecclesiastes 7:8-9, ESV)

When faced with a difficult situation, it is easy to react quickly and rashly. How much better would it be if we pause, waited for the anger within us to subside; and then respond appropriately. Don’t be the fool – use the wisdom God gave you to handle the tough times.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see difficult situations as challenges to glorify Your name.
