Daily Devotion

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God (1 John 3:21, ESV)

The scripture tells us to go boldly before God and here it suggests how to be confident before the Lord Almighty. Do you ever feel like a child waiting to see the principal when you think about going to God? To change those feelings and to have confidence of going to your Heavenly Father is to have a clear conscience. To have a clear conscience doesn’t mean you are perfect all the time, it means you are willing to admit your failings and receive the forgiveness God offers. Clear those commo lines to God today.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see your grace today.

I know. Right! But, that is exactly how God desires us to come to Him – as a child. He wants us to Home our concerns and joys. “To such as these belongs the Kingdom,” said Jesus.
